Abstract
Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The success rate of TB treatment for all cases in 2019 is 82%. Compliance with TB treatment is very important, because if treatment is not carried out regularly and not in accordance with the specified time, TB germs will develop immunity to Anti-TB Drugs (OAT). The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the level of adherence to treatment in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis at the Yoka Health Center. The research method is descriptive, namely with a research approach to health workers and patients at the Yoka Health Center in June 2021 as many as 32 pulmonary TB patients. male (47%), and high school education (50%). The length of treatment for patients with pulmonary tuberculosis was <6 months as many as 24 people (72%). The factors that underlie the level of compliance of pulmonary tuberculosis patients are distance from home (100%), difficulty taking medication (100%) and the role of PMO (80%). And the level of treatment adherence that is categorized as adherent to treatment (69%).
