Abstract

Hypertension is a disorder of the circulatory system that can cause an increase in blood above normal, which exceeds 140/90 mm/Hg. The general goal of hypertension treatment is to reduce mortality and morbidity associated with target organ damage such as heart failure, and chronic heart disease. Pharmacological therapy that patients get can be in the form of a combination of antihypertensive drugs. Combination therapy is needed if a single antihypertensive has not been able to control blood pressure targets. This study aims to determine the pattern of prescribing antihypertensive drugs at the Goldwin Farma Pharmacy, Yapen Islands District. The type of research used is descriptive. The number of samples in this study was 110 recipes.
