Abstract

According to the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 73 of 2016 concerning Pharmaceutical Service Standars in Pharmacies, what is meant by a prescription is a written request from a doctor or dentist to a phamacist, both in paper and eletronic form, to provide and deliver drugs to patient according to applicable regulations. The highest malaria cases are concentrated in eastern Indonesia, Papua being the province with the highest malaria cases. Before submitting a prescription, it is necessary to examine administrative, pharmaceutical and clinical aspects, so as to reduce medication errors and increase patient safety rates.
