Abstract
TB is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which can attack the lungs and other organs. TB is an infectious disease that is still a major health problem in Indonesia because it has a major impact on the decline in work productivity (Kemenkes RI, 2016).Compliance is a form of behavior that arises as a result of the interaction between health workers and patients, understand the plan and all its consequences and agree to the plan and implement it. (Ministry of Health RI, 2011).The purpose of this study was to determine the description of TB patient compliance with the use of OAT at the Kotaraja Health Center, Jayapura City. This type of research is descriptive. This research was conducted at the Kotaraja Health Center in Jayapura City in June 2021. The study population was all TB patients at the Kotaraja Health Center with a total sample of 30 samples with inclusion criteria aged >17 years - 67 years, and active patients who were on TB treatment. The results showed that the majority of respondents came from the age group of 26 years - 35 years as many as 25 people (83%), female respondents as many as 18 people (60%), most respondents had a final education, namely high school as many as 26 people (87%) Compared to other education, the distance from the patient's house is mostly close to 29 patients (97%), most of the respondents' knowledge is 25 people (83%), the longest duration of treatment for TB patients is 2-6 months, namely 12 patients (40%), The officer's attitude towards the patient was good as many as 30 people (100%), the relationship between OAT availability was 30 patients (100%).Conclusion:Patients at the Kotaraja Obedient Health Center took OAT and took OAT.
